Up for sale is a beautiful Antique 18-century original oil painting on canvas depicting a portrait of a Nobleman with a large whig, and a red-lined jacket Signed Js. Jones Px and dated 1780 lower left. The painting is in good/antique condition, has some craquelures due to age, cleaned, scattered overpaint, several small patches visible on the reverse. Nicely framed. Please see the photos, the photos are part of the description. Measures with the frame 31.75" X 29", painting 28.5" x 25.5".
