Up for sale is a rare and unique oil painting on canvas by High listed Romanian-Israeli Artist Raoul Raymond. Painting depicting the Jewish scene. It has vibrant colors and is highly textured and the paint has very thick given it a great 3D look. Great color and content. Painting is in a very good condition and measures 16" x 12". Wood Frame is also in good condition and measures 25" x 21".

Raoul Raymond was born in Bucharest, Romania in 1948 and he immigrated to Israel two years later.
In Israel, Mr. Raymond grew fond of the artist's palette, and at an early age, was guided by Israeli artist Ton Bernhard. Mr. Raymond studied at the Lyceum of Graphis in Tel Aviv, and in 1965 continued his studies at the Academie des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He returned to Israel in 1967 and entered the military service, taking part in the Six-Day War. Raoul Raymond has taken part in many group shows, both in Israel and abroad, notably in Europe. He paints in an impressionistic style, capturing characteristic Israeli scenes in his warm, vibrant colors.
