This is an Antique oil painting on canvas 18/19 centuries depicting a man wearing a clerical dress with a clerical cravat. When Reformed pastors would enter the pulpit, they would add what is known as a “preaching tab” or “neckband” to their clerical dress. This type of dress is nearly ubiquitous among the 17th and 18th centuries. This is an original painting, was restored and put onto a mid-19th century stretcher. 
Condition is - good/antique. Has a repaired crack on a face, craquelures, scratches.  Please look at photos to see the details. (Photos are part of the description). Free insured domestic shipping.
